Candice Abrahams has been named Mrs World 2016 in a glamourous event held in China on Saturday.

Abrahams is the first South African  to be crowned Mrs World.  Abrahams thanked everyone for supporting her.

She later posted a message on her Facebook page: “I am so humbled and appreciative of all the wonderful messages on Facebook, Whatsapp and email

“It's means so much to me! I am honored to walk with purpose as your MRS WORLD”.

Abrahams was one of 36 of the world’s most beautiful women to take part in the pageant.
