Nigeria, South Africa friendly planned ahead of 2010 World Cup
Football - Nigeria and South Africa will play a friendly match as part of their preparations for the 2010 World Cup, to be hosted by South Africa.

The venue and date for the match, which will be the eighth meeting between the two, have yet to be fixed, the 'Complete Sports' newspaper reported Saturday.

Nigeria has won most of the seven matches involving both teams in the past.

The 2010 World Cup, the first to be staged on the African soil, will be Nigeria's fourth appearance at the four-yearly global soccer extravaganza, while South Africa will be making its third appearance.
