Grandpa Doe Rated High In Egypt

News from Egypt says champions Al-ahly 24 year old Liberian assassin Francis Grand Pa Doe is better than their former Angolan danger man Flavio Amando.

The 29 year old Flavio, who left the club at the end of the season for Saudi Arabian side Ah-shabbab, is said to be kept in distant memory as a certain number "29" in Francis Doe has fit in his shoes and the fans of Ahly are laughing again.

After netting in a flurry of descent goals, the Christmas day born finisher Doe continues to be in the Egyptian press for all the good reasons.

His pace, power and precision is no doubt posing problems for opposing defenders in Africa's most star studded league as far as players returning from top European leagues are concerned.

The lad, who led the Foreign based/professionals against the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) selection of local based stars in a best out of three tournament which began Tuesday, December 29, 2009, is indeed in rich vein of form and is not thinking of stopping.

He scored the second goal for the Foreign based/professionals in a 2-2 draw  in the opening match at the ATS in Monrovia.
