Kenyan Troops Finally Capture Somalia's Kismayu Port From Al Shabab
Kismayu (Somalia)---Kenyan and Somali government troops have finally captured the Alshabab held Somali port city of Kismayu. Kenya's military spokesman Cyrus Oguna told Kenya's Citizen Television on friday. A message posted on Twitter by the Kenyan Military said “KDF TROOPS HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF KISMAYU!!!”
“Residents are advised to avoid areas where KDF & SNA troops are to avoid collateral damage,”
Several Al Shabaab militants were killed in the attack but the exact casualty figures are yet to be released. “The damage will be assessed and we will give you all the information available.”
KDF is now urging residents of Kismayu port city  to move out of the battle ground to avoid falling casualty.
