South Africa's next President: Cyril Ramaphosa is the new ANC President. He got 2440 votes and his competitor Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma received 2261.
A total of 4,776 delegates attended the conference in Johannesburg with 68 abstaintions or spoilt ballots.
Cyril won after a tense battle with his rival, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. Cyril's win comfortably puts him in the driving seat to become the next President of South Africa when President Jacob Zuma's term expires in 2019. Ramaphosa won 51.8 per cent of the vote.
