Ugandan music star and MP Bobi Wine (Robert Kyagulanyi), has been released on bail. He had been charged with treason following an alleged attack on a vehicle in Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni's convoy.

Bobi Wine was released on a 'non-cash' bail.  Bobi wine has emerged as a strong opposition leader, thus the tough reaction towards him from Museveni's government. The court did not approve the bail application of  the other suspects charged alongside Bibi Wine.
