Masai Mara Hot Air Balloon is launched at the Skyship site not far from the Great Mara River; about ten minutes drive from the Kichwa Tembo Camp. The balloon flight is launched between 6:00 and 6:30am (sunrise). The balloon travels 15 to 25 kilometers depending on wind conditions. The gentle and silent nature of the Masai Mara Hot Air Balloon flight allows the passengers to view the wildlife from a comfortable distance. The big five; the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo can be seen frequently along with other animals such as hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, birds and many more.
