Resources 4 Africa, the organisers of the highly acclaimed Joburg Indaba, are delighted to announce the launch of the Inaugural Harare Indaba on investing in resources and mining in Zimbabwe, to be held on 26th March 2018 at the Johannesburg Country Club, Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
At this time of pending renewal and rejuvenation in Zimbabwe, the questions being asked are:
How will the Zimbabwe economy and more specifically, mining industry, renew itself?
What is changing in the country and what will this mean for the mining sector?
What will it mean for investors?
Join us for a fresh conversation that is set to re-energize discussions about Zimbabwe as a mining investment destination.
The South African business and investment communities have a long history of doing business with Zimbabwe. We are pleased to be able to bring right into our own back yard, a high level Zimbabwean delegation who will come specifically to Johannesburg to brief you on all important issues such as:
Mining’s contribution towards regenerating the economy of Zimbabwe
What will be different now? Will there be certainty for investors?
Is Zimbabwe now a worthwhile mining investment destination?
Business Leaders’ views on Zimbabwe as a mining investment destination
Where is the new opportunity? What makes you optimistic now about the Zimbabwe environment? What challenges do you still face? What advice can you give to new investors? Do you plan to invest further?
The Senior Delegation from Zimbabwe will include:
Honourable Minister Winston Chitando, Minister of Mines & Mining Development, Zimbabwe
Honourable Advocate Jacob Francis Mudenda, Speaker of the National Assembly
Honourable Temba P. Mliswa, Chairperson, Mines & Energy Portfolio Committee
The Harare Indaba will also provide investors and fund managers with the opportunity to engage in a private session face to face with the Zimbabwe delegation during the afternoon. The closed session is extended to investors only.
