BRUSSELS, 11 February 2021 / PRN Africa / -- On 10 February, the Head of Mission met with the EU Special Envoy for the Sahel, Angel Losada.
Discussions focused on the current challenges and socio-political situation in Mali and EUCAP's engagement during the transition period, notably regarding the stabilization efforts in the Centre, the redeployment of State authorities and the holding of elections. The participants also discussed EUCAP's role in the integrated approach in the Sahel, the P3S framework (Partenariat pour la stabilité et la sécurité au Sahel) and the prospects of the upcoming G5-Sahel summit, scheduled for 15 and 16 February in Ndjamena (Tchad).
