We leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. Karanga Camp the trail continues to gain altitude until reaching Barafu Camp (4600m), which marks the end of the Southern Circuit. Afterwards we will rest for the remainder of the day. We camp overnight at Barafu Camp.
The two awesome peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi can been seen from Barafu Camp.
