 After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will meet the guide and transfer to the Salinero Hotel in Moshi.

Day:2 Transfer To Marangu Gate

First thing in the morning, we will transfer to Marangu gate in the national park and begin trekking through thick tropical rainforest until we reach Mandaru hut.
Elevation: 6,046 ft. to 8,858 ft.
Distance: 8 km/5 miles
Hiking Time: 4-5 hours

Day:3 Mandara Hut To Horombo Hut

The second day of trekking begins as the first one ended. We will continue hiking through the forest until we ascend out of it and cross into high moorlands, enjoying beautiful views of Kilimanjaro until we reach the hut.
Elevation: 8,858 ft. to 12,205 ft.
Distance: 12km/7 miles
Hiking Time: 6-8 hours

Day:4 Horombo Hut To Kibo Hut

We will spend the day crossing the rugged and arid landscape at the foot of the mountain. After an early dinner, we will go to bed in preparation for summit day.
Elevation: 12,205 ft. to 15,430 ft.
Distance; 10km/6 miles
Hiking Time: 6-8 hours

Day:5 Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak

Starting at midnight, we will begin our ascent to the summit, hiking up steep scree. From the top, we will enjoy the sunrise over Africa from the continent’s highest point, before descending back down to Horombo hut.
Elevation: 15,430 ft. to 19,341 ft to 12,250 ft.
Distance: 22 km/14 miles
Hiking Time: 10-13 hours

Day:6 Horombo Hut to Marangu Hut

We will spend the last day of trekking heading mostly downhill back to Marangu gate. From here, we will transfer to the hotel.
Elevation: 12,205 ft. to 6,046 ft.
Distance: 20km/ 12 miles
Hiking Time: 5-7 hours

Day:7 Tarangire National Park

After getting up early in the morning, we will transfer to Tarangire National Park and spend the day wildlife watching. At the end of the day, we will transfer to the lodge.

Day:8 Ngorongoro Crater

We will descend into the deep Ngorongoro crater and spend the day wildlife watching again. The crater is densely populated and home to just about every species of animal native to East Africa. At the end of the day, we will transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.

Day:9 Lake Manyara National Park

We will spend the day heading out for a game drive through the national park, where we will get the chance to see the rare tree climbing lion as well as many other animals. In the evening, we will transfer back to Moshi.

We will take you from the hotel to the airport and say goodbye.
