The city's first citizen emphasized that this partnership serves as an essential lever for implementing the "Kinshasa Ezo Banga" program, which is part of the vision of the President of the Republic, FΓ©lix-Antoine Tshisekedi, focused on the sanitation and modernization of urban centers. Thanks to the establishment of integrated digital solutions, the city of Kinshasa will now be able to optimize revenue mobilization, particularly through more effective collection of sanitation taxes, property taxes, and other local levies.
"It is a great satisfaction to see initiatives come to fruition that hold promise for addressing the structural challenges of our city," the governor declared. For his part, the Director General of REGIDESO, David Tshilumba, highlighted the decisive role of digital technology as a catalyst for performance in public enterprises. He noted that digitalization will enable more efficient use of demographic and consumption data, thereby strengthening operational synergy between the utility and the provincial administration. This partnership marks a significant step toward establishing modern, transparent urban governance resolutely focused on performance. Through this momentum, Kinshasa aims to enhance its attractiveness, sustainably improve the living conditions of its residents, and align with contemporary standards of urban development.
